Day 62: Client Meeting

Today is our meeting with Mrs. Berger.

1.  Please remember to sit in the front middle section.  Only recorders should turn their computers on.
2.  Today is a no phone day/headphone day.  All period!
3.  When we are finished interviewing Mrs. Berger, you will break up into your design groups and get started brainstorming.

I will also be giving you your permission forms for the fieldtrip today.  They are due next Tuesday.

Day 20-25: Package Design!

1.  What is package design/layout?

2.  What software do I use?  Photoshop for any pixel work.  Illustrator for the layout.

3.  Project:  You will create the entire layout for a package of your choosing.  See below.  It must look like a professional made it!

Day 5: Submit Logos & Reflect

1.  Create our blogs together.
2.  Save your ePortfolio Logo for web as a GIF. (make sure to save your thumbnails & final together)
3.  Post to your blog & answer the reflection questions at the bottom of this GDoc.
4.  Add your GIF of the e Portfolio images to the GDdoc in your folder as well as your blog!

Day 4: Finish Logos

1.Finish up your ePortfolio Logos.  They are due on Monday.

2.  Here is the peer review form if you wish to use it.

Logo Submission: 

1. Make sure you organize your Illustrator page with all parts on inside the boundaries.
2.  Go to File -> Save for Web & Devices.
3.  Choose GIF.  Then save this to your student H Drive.
4.  In the ePorfolio Logo Google Doc, go to Insert -> Image.
5.  Then click the blue "Choose image to upload" button.
6.  Then locate where you saved your GIF Illustrator image.
7.  Check the ePortfolio GDoc for your reflection questions.  You can begin to write these.  We will post them to your blog on Monday.
